Hans Johrend

I'm a mechatronics engineer and currently a physics student at BabeČ™-Bolyai University, where I work on implementing low-cost manufacturing solutions for integrated circuits.

So far I've worked in both start-ups and academic environments, where I did hardware prototyping, be it wearable devices, PCBs, custom 3D printer hardware or other lab/fabrication devices.

Research

I'm interested in manufacturing technologies, materials, electronics and integrated circuits. Most of my academic oriented work at the moment is about designing a workflow and the necessary tools for creating a low-cost integrated circut prototyping fab. I support open hardware.
